Vertiv Unveils AI Hub with Industry’s First AI Reference Design Portfolio

Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has launched the Vertiv AI Hub to address the scarcity of expert information for pioneering data centers amidst the rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases. This initiative aims to provide partners, customers, and website visitors with access to expert information, reference designs, and resources essential for planning AI-ready infrastructure effectively.

The Vertiv AI Hub offers a range of resources, including white papers, industry research, tools, and power and cooling portfolios tailored for both retrofit and greenfield applications. The platform also features a new reference design library showcasing scalable liquid cooling and power infrastructure capable of supporting current and future chip sets, ranging from 10-140kW per rack.

Recognizing the dynamic nature of the AI tech stack and its supporting infrastructure, the Vertiv AI Hub will be regularly updated with new content to keep pace with industry developments. Additionally, the platform will introduce an AI Infrastructure certification program for Vertiv partners, further enhancing their expertise in this domain.

Vertiv CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi emphasized the company’s commitment to sharing cutting-edge technology and insights with the data center industry. He highlighted Vertiv’s dedication to providing comprehensive knowledge, a broad portfolio, and expert guidance to enable customers to deploy energy-efficient AI power and cooling infrastructure for current and future deployments. Albertazzi also emphasized Vertiv’s close partnerships with leading chipmakers and innovative data center operators, positioning the company as uniquely qualified to assist customers and partners on their AI journey.

Sean Graham, research director for datacenters at IDC, emphasized the significance of infrastructure providers like Vertiv in helping businesses navigate the complexities of AI deployment. He highlighted the value of having a trusted source of information and expertise for organizations developing their AI strategies.
