For the first time since its founding in 1992, AURES Holdings has achieved remarkable sales figures from January to April 2024, selling over 35,000 vehicles through its AAA AUTO and Mototechna dealerships across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. April 2024 alone saw a record-breaking 9,463 vehicles sold, marking the strongest month in the company’s history. By early March 2024, AURES had sold around 100,000 cars over the preceding 12 months.
Karolína Topolová, Co-CEO of AURES Holdings, attributes this success to high demand and extensive technological innovations. The company has heavily invested in generative AI for marketing and customer communication, alongside intelligent data usage in their purchasing and sales processes.
Over the past five years, AURES has invested hundreds of millions of crowns (about 10 million euros) into software development and machine learning. These technologies are now integrated into every aspect of the business, from purchasing to sales, warehouse management, marketing, and the contact center. As a result, AURES has expanded its customer base to over 3.1 million.
Petr Vaněček, Co-CEO responsible for innovation, highlights their machine learning-based car buying technology, developed over ten years. This system continuously monitors the market and evaluates opportunities, something beyond human capability. Remarkably, 70% of vehicles are sold in different markets from where they were purchased.
A groundbreaking development is the AI agent created with ScaleVoice Inc. This AI helps with customer acquisition, buying, and selling cars efficiently. It manages customer interactions autonomously, with only about 4% of calls needing a human operator. Developed over eight months, the AI agent has already facilitated car purchases worth four million euros in the past month alone.
ScaleVoice, now seeking additional investors, aims to expand its AI agent’s capabilities across the U.S., further boosting AURES’ buying and selling potential to 100 million euros annually. This agent re-engages potential customers who previously dropped out, arranges purchases, and integrates seamlessly with CRM systems.
AURES also uses AI to enhance vehicle marketing, generating detailed and appealing descriptions for their ads. This automation saves time and resources while increasing customer engagement and sales, leading to a 7% increase in conversion rates from web traffic to leads.
AURES is also focusing on the growing field of electromobility. AURES exceeded its target in 2023 by capturing a 12.3% share of the Czech secondary market for electric vehicles, aiming for 15% in 2024. They plan to expand their website with information on electric vehicle charging and real-time diagnostics.
With over 60 branches and service centers across Central and Eastern Europe, AURES sells nearly 100,000 vehicles annually. Owned by the British-Polish investment fund Abris Capital Partners, AURES continues to innovate, ensuring a bright future ahead.
