Zoho Enhances CRM Product, Prioritizing Collaboration Among Sales Teams

Zoho, a prominent SaaS unicorn, has unveiled a range of new product offerings tailored for its global enterprise clientele, including an upgraded version of Zoho CRM for Everyone, aimed at accelerating customer growth and enhancing their overall experience.

With customer relationship management (CRM) being a key revenue driver for Zoho, the company’s latest capabilities are designed to enhance visibility across the entire customer journey, bridge coordination gaps, and streamline turnaround times.

According to Zoho, India has emerged as one of its fastest-growing markets, particularly for its CRM product, experiencing a remarkable 33% year-on-year growth in customers in 2023.

Mani Vembu, Zoho’s Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the significance of Zoho CRM for Everyone in breaking down organizational silos, empowering various teams involved in the sales process to contribute more effectively by simplifying CRM complexities and fostering collaboration.

In addition to the revamped CRM offering, Zoho has bolstered its solutions for professional developers through Catalyst, its pro-code full-stack development platform, and Zoho Apptics, an application analytics solution enabling developers to monitor in-app usage and performance.

Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho, emphasized the growing demand among businesses for unified solutions that optimize value, maximize competitive advantages, and seize new market opportunities amidst challenging economic conditions.

He elaborated on the transformative impact of Zoho CRM for Everyone, Catalyst, and Apptics in unifying customer operations teams, enhancing developer experiences, and delivering superior customer experiences.

Zoho’s announcement follows recent adjustments made by its US counterparts Salesforce and Freshworks to their financial forecasts, citing weak client spending and inflationary pressures.

Earlier this year, Zoho achieved a significant milestone with its sales crossing the $1 billion mark in the financial year ended March 31, 2023, reflecting a substantial 30% year-on-year growth in operating revenue.

Founded in 1996 as AdventNet INC., Zoho has evolved to offer a wide range of products including web applications for sales, marketing, finance, legal, mobile applications, and suites.

Recent ventures by Zoho include its foray into the semiconductor space, plans for a power tools manufacturing venture with Karuvi, and the launch of Zakya, a POS solution catering to retail businesses, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation and diversification.
